ThinkBig Production is a video/movie film. we help to build their branding such as logo, name card and website design.
I begin every project with in-depth conversations—asking questions, listening, and chatting until I uncover the core direction and valuable insights. For this client, "Think Big," the goal was clear: their brand needed to reflect boldness, creativity, and playfulness. The company name itself suggests ambition ("Think Big") and a mindset full of innovative ideas.
My first instinct was to draw inspiration from film and motion, tying into themes of storytelling and vision. Research led me to classic film reels, but I questioned whether this aesthetic felt too dated for a modern brand. How could I reinterpret cinematic energy in a fresh way?
I shifted focus to broader video industry elements—playback symbols, equipment, and motion graphics. That’s when the *play button* emerged as a strong, universal symbol. During sketching, I noticed something unexpected: the spool of a film reel resembled the Chinese character *"大" (BIG)*—a perfect serendipitous connection to the brand name!
The final logo merges clever symbolism with bold simplicity:
• *Five dynamic play buttons* radiate outward, their arrows converging at the center to create focus and movement.
• *Negative space* subtly forms the character "大," reinforcing the "Think Big" ethos in both Western and Eastern contexts.
• The result is striking, playful, and deeply intentional—a visual metaphor for big ideas in motion.
• The colour combination — use varies and brighten colour may feel playful.
This project reminded me how curiosity and iterative exploration lead to the most impactful designs.

我轉向更廣泛的影視產業元素:播放符號、設備與動態圖形。此時,*播放按鈕(play button)*浮現為一個強而有力的通用符號。在草稿階段,我意外發現膠捲軸的結構神似中文「大」字——完美呼應品牌名稱!
標誌結合巧妙的象徵與簡潔力道:
• *五個動態播放按鈕*向外放射,箭頭聚焦中心,創造視覺動能。
• *負空間*隱藏「大」字,雙關東西方語境中的「Think Big」精神。
• 成果鮮明、玩味且充滿意圖——將「大膽思維」轉譯為視覺隱喻。
• 顏色組合-使用多種多樣和明亮的顏色可能會讓人感覺有趣及具玩味的感覺。
這個案子再次驗證:好奇心與反覆探索,能催生最具說服力的設計。
